In today's world of 'must have it today' production, it’s important to keep machine downtime to a minimum. If your machine has seen better days and is constantly breaking down due to electrical faults or you just need to upgrade a certain part of the control system, then Hague Electrical Services can be of help.

If you have a machine with electrical controls that are obsolete, troublesome or simply just not good enough, we can quickly and cost effectively build a new system to suit.

Your machine probably uses temperamental selector switches and push buttons, relay logic and fixed speed direct on-line motors. These can be changed for HMI (human machine interface), PLC control and variable speed drives.

The wiring containment system is often damaged, exposing cables and providing a potentially dangerous situation.

When a fault does arise and an electrician is called, his job is made harder due to the fact that any electrical circuit diagrams have long since disappeared, component identifying legends are missing and spare parts are no longer available. Our extensive use of CAD software enables us to provide detailed and accurate drawings and parts lists for customer records and support.

Another reason for upgrading your machine electrics and one of the main areas of concern for a factory manager, is safety. Old machines, if you're lucky, will have one Emergency Stop button and perhaps a couple of guards. We can bring your machine in line with current European standards, typically BS EN 60204-1 - Safety of machinery - Electrical equipment of machines.
